While we have a small team of casual teachers who work regularly at Queenwood, we often seek additional casual staff in both our Junior and Senior Schools, so we welcome expressions of interest for casual teaching positions throughout the year.

Queenwood is located at Balmoral Beach (Senior School) and Mosman (Junior School) under 10km from the Sydney CBD. With attractive facilities in a beautiful environment, staff enjoy proximity to parks, beach, cafes and multiple bus routes directly outside the School or a short walk to Spit Junction.

Event Manager

The Event Manager plays a pivotal role in advancing the School’s strategic objectives by cultivating a vibrant sense of purpose and connection within the Queenwood community and extending that spirit to the broader community through engaging events. The role promises variety and excitement, ensuring the Event Manager is at the heart of key community engagements and initiatives. This is a full-time permanent role and you will be expected to attend a range of school activities and events outside of normal working hours.

Sports Coordinator/Aquatic Administrator

The Sports Coordinator/Aquatic Administrator is responsible for facilitating safe, professional and well-organised sporting programs at Queenwood. This role will assist the Director of Sport and the Head of Sport Operations 7-12 with the daily management and organisation of sport in the Senior School, whilst also reviewing and managing the quality of coaches within each program. This role will also assist with the Aquatic administration related to the Swimming and Learn to Swim programs.

Head of Visual Arts

The Head of Visual Arts is responsible for leading and developing the Years 7–12 Visual Arts curriculum at Queenwood Senior School and is expected to actively contribute to the broader life of the School. This role requires a highly accomplished and experienced educator with a proven record of excellence in teaching Stage 4–6 Visual Arts and the IB Diploma Programme. This is a full-time permanent position commencing Term 1, 2025, however, the start date may be negotiable for the candidate.
