Ms Kelly McFadden

MBA MAICD

Ms McFadden is a seasoned senior leader with extensive experience in general management and human resources executive roles across highly regulated and complex industries, including biopharmaceuticals, medical technology, fintech, and financial services.

Throughout her career, Ms McFadden has collaborated closely with executive leadership teams to drive business growth by cultivating strong organisational cultures. Her leadership has been instrumental in earning multiple recognitions for the organisations in which she has worked, including Great Place to Work awards and placement on Best Workplaces lists. She has also led impactful gender diversity initiatives, earning an Employer of Choice for Women citation.

With a deep expertise in change management, Ms McFadden has successfully managed M&A integrations, organisational design, and cultural transformation projects.

Most recently, Ms McFadden transitioned to the not-for-profit sector as Head of People and Performance at Starlight Children’s Foundation, where she works to support the organisation’s mission of brightening the lives of seriously ill children and young people.

Ms McFadden’s longstanding relationship with Queenwood dates back to 2007, when her eldest daughter attended the school from Kindergarten through to Year 12. She has served on Queenwood’s Council as a Governor since 2019 and was appointed Chair in 2025.

Outside of her professional life, Ms McFadden is a dedicated volunteer surf lifesaver on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and regularly competes in state, national, and international surf lifesaving competitions.

Ms McFadden holds an MBA from the University of New England, a Human Resources Management in Asia Certificate from INSEAD, and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (MAICD).
