Until his retirement in 2014 after 27 years as a partner of Herbert Smith Freehills, Murray was a commercial lawyer who advised many of Australia’s leading participants in the property development and REIT industries in relation to the acquisition, development and disposal of many iconic commercial, retail, sporting, and industrial properties. In 2008, he spent nine months in London as General Counsel (UK) of Lend Lease advising in relation to the development and disposal of the Athletes Village for the 2012 London Olympics.
Mr Dearberg has had a connection with Queenwood for over 25 years, being the father of three Queenwood graduates and a Governor since 2019.
